TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Depart from Santo Tomas de Castilla by small boat, enjoying the scenic ride gliding past the lush green coast of Guatemala's "different" Caribbean.
Continue to the mouth of the Rio Dulce, a jungle river inhabited by the Maya-Q'eqchi' ethnic group, one of the twenty groups spread throughout the country. Enjoy the sights and experience the nature surrounding you where We will visit the hanging gardens after that we'll visit Ak´tenamit project, hot water (thermal), the garden lagoon and Bird Island.
Next it's on to the Garifuna village of Livingston where four different ethnic groups, Garifunas, Maya Queqchis, Hindu's and Latinos peacefully live together.
Because of this multicultural diversity the village is very colourful and fun loving .We'll visit the multicultural museum, the colourful streets and Later we will happen to a typical restaurant of the area where if you want you will be able to eat for lunch or to take a drink, soon we will take the boat from return to Puerto.
